Kwara Speaker sympathizes with Hon. Awolola over Dad's death

Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu has extended his condolence to the family of Hon. Awolola Olumide Ayokunle, Chairman House Committee on Information, Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism, and member representing Isin State Constituency at the Kwara state House of Assembly, over the loss of his dad.

The centenarian, Pa Timothy Awolola died earlier today, in Ilorin after a brief illness.

"I condole with my colleague, Hon. Awolola Olumide Ayokunle, member representing Isin State Constituency over the demise of his father - Pa Timothy Awolola, who gave up the ghost today noon", Danladi-Salihu said in a condolence message signed and made available to press by his Special Assistant, Media, Ibrahim Sheriff.

"While we never wanted our old parents to leave, nature continues to confront us with the reality of death, for which we have no power of objection", he added.

"It is my prayer that God forgive the deceased, grant him eternal rest and strengthen the family to bear the burden of Baba's demise".
