World Teachers' Day 2020: Kwara Speaker harps on improved welfare, capacity building

Speaker, Kwara state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu has described Teachers as architect of every Nation's future, whose contribution to all facets of human lives cannot be overemphasized.
"On behalf of the 9th Kwara state House of Assembly, I celebrate every Educator who are the architect of our future. No doubt, the significance of Teachers to Nation's building and human lives cannot be overemphasized", Danladi-Salihu said in a statement commemorating World Teachers' Day issued by his spokesperson, Ibrahim Sheriff.
The Academia turn legislator said "As legislators that appreciates the import of Teachers to the attainment of quality education, we shall continue to sustain our resolve to continue overhauling the education sector and ensuring welfare of our teachers are guaranteed through our legislations and oversight functions
Danladi-Salihu also used the opportunity to emphasize importance of continuous capacity building of Teachers to equip them with 21st century technical and technological know how that will enable innovative teaching capable of catapulting Nigeria to an enviable height of technological advancements and breaking new ground in a knowledge based economy.
