KWHA suspends sitting and other legislative activities for a week in honour of a deceased law maker

The Kwara State House of Assembly today adjourned and suspended Sitting, Committee works  and other legislative activities for a week in honour of  member representing Oke-Ero Constituency Hon. Moses Musa Afolayan who passed on, in the early hours of Saturday.
    The Speaker Dr. Ali Ahmad gave this indication in Ilorin while presiding over today's sitting.
    Dr. Ahmad explained that the House would reconvene on Tuesday next week with valedictory session for the departed law maker at the floor of the House.
    He urged  Family members, Friends and Associates of the deceased to attend the valedictory session.
    The House later observed a minute silence in honour of the soul of the deceased law maker.
  The Speaker and other Members of the House later received the State Governor Alh Abdul Fatah Ahmed on a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at his residence along NNPC Pipeline road in Ilorin
    Hon. Afolayan elected on the platform of the All Progressive Congress into the State House of Assembly in the April 2015 general elections, died in the early hours of Saturday in his house along NNPC pipeline road Ilorin, at the age of 59
