Gbabiabidun community hails Ali Ahmad over bore hole's provision

Gbabiabidun Community in Balogun-Fulani Ward III, Ilorin South Local Government Area of Kwara State has appreciated the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad for his support to the development and advancement of the area.

Speaking on behalf of the community, Alhaji Oladapo Azeez who commended the speaker during inspection of the newly sunk motorised bore hole for the people of the area prayed that Allah continue to be with him in his endeavours.

Azeez who is a former Peoples Democratic Party ward chairman in Balogun-Fulani ward III noted that with Ahmad prompt intervention, the challenges facing the community regarding water scarcity has been a thing of the past.

He recalled that the lawmaker had on three occasions paid for the bore hole and was done, unfortunately he noted that the desired result could not be achieved as it usually stopped working after sometimes.

Apart from provision of water, Azeez explained that the speaker has been of tremendous assistance to the community, the ward and Ilorin South Local Government, calling for people's support to spur the lawmaker so as to do more for the area.

Speaking on behalf of women in the area, Alhaja Iya Taiye maintained that the new bore hole has brought lots of relief to them, especially women who uses water for cooking, washing and several things in the household.

She explained that before now it has been problematic for the people to get adequate water supply as they have to trek to up to Emir's road, Taiwo Isale or Opo-Malu particularly during dry season before they could get a bucket of water.

She however prayed Allah in His infinite mercy to always guide the speaker and provide him the wherewithal to enable him succeed in the arduous task.
